New Chairman Hyundae Shin: "I will lead a second leap forward through the enactment of the Service Industry Development Framework Act"

The inauguration ceremony for the chairman of the Korea Service Industry Federation (hereinafter "the Federation") was held on February 12 at the Grand Station (15th floor) of the Kensington Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul. The event was attended by Federation members, association chairs from member organizations, and figures from various sectors.

In his inaugural address, new Chairman Hyundae Shin said, "Taking office as the 6th Chairman of the Korea Service Industry Federation is an immense honor and joy, but it also carries great responsibility." He expressed his aspiration to "pursue diverse activities so that the service industry finds its rightful standing in our society and becomes a new path forward for our economy."

He further emphasized, "I will do my utmost to ensure the passage of the Service Industry Development Framework Act through the National Assembly and to build the competitiveness of the service industry," adding, "I will also make every effort to establish the human, material, and organizational systems of the Federation's secretariat."

Founded in 2012, the Korea Service Industry Federation is a non-profit incorporated association composed of organizations and experts spanning all fields of the service industry, including education, healthcare, exhibition planning, tourism, software, knowledge services, architecture, engineering, design, franchising, golf, and shipping.
